I have not drawn an animal for a very long time, and wanted to try a new drawing technique. I saw this photo in Facebook of my friends Dog Java. What a cute face. I just had to draw her. I drew this portrait on smaller 5" x 7" piece of paper. I usually draw on 11 x 14" or 14" x 17" paper. It worked out great. I think I will add this size drawing to my commissioned work. I will charge a lot smaller fee, but will only accept one subject for a drawing.

I am still looking at getting a website together soon. I already bought my domain name. http://www.justusportraits.com/ Now I just need a web page to add it to.

My birthday is tomorrow and I will be 38. How did the time fly by so fast. I will be celebrating by drawing another animal. This time it will be a horse. I am going to use a 5" x 7" greeting card paper. Just something new to try. Check back soon to see.
